Kiki, Frosty, and Busy Izzy stopped by last Sunday to take P for a ride in their little red car. It is just a two seater, so no room for a car seat. But, since I trust K & F as if they are P’s real second set of grandparents…..I knew they would take good care of him. It started as just a slow ride around the block and a quick trip around the corner to visit gigi and papa. It turned in to…..a visit to gigi and papa’s….a trip to the park….and two ice cream cones from Dairy Queen! Can you say spoiled?
I did my normal, “freak out” moment when they weren’t back after a hour. I think I was still coming down off my hormonal roller coaster….oh gawd…who am I kidding….I am just crazy! I even got in my car and took off looking for them when neither of them answered their phones. I know, a little much. I worry WAY too much. That is an understatement. I should have known they were at the park and getting ice cream! P loves them! Of course, what kid doesnt love Frosty. He can go from CEO to 5 year old in less than a split second….and P thinks its GRAND!

LOVE the pics! Too cute. And, I’m right there with you with the worries. I’m the same way. I must admit it does get better as they little ones get older, but even after 10 years I’m still having to talk myself into a calmer mind set periodically. You’re just being a good mommy!
