We are so excited about the new direction of Dollars and Roses. We thank you in advance for all of your support and we truly hope that this “new” site will help others gain more out of their marriage.
To celebrate the launch of our new direction and our new blog we thought it would be fun to award one lucky couple with some much needed quality time away from the house and the kiddos.
Listen, we LOVE our kids, but we also recognize that mommy and daddy need some alone time to enjoy each other so we try to take mini trips when we can to help us recharge.

Thank you, thank you! I am so happy I stumbled upon you and your husbands’ blog’s. I am finding this “season” of marriage my husband and I are in to be on one the hardest. With two young kids (6 and 7), we are finding it hard to connect with each other like we used to before kids. I feel like we are this old couple just taking care of responsibilities…having no energy for each other or fun. I hope to gain some fresh new perspective from your marriage blog and hopefully breath life into my marriage. Thank you from California!

Love..love…the new blog. We have start on our journey to reconnecting and recommiting to each other! We will be 20 year married, three kids (high school sweethearts) and have been threw alot. Loss of a child, and now dealing with my MS and lots more and have gotten threw all because we have each other! Not easy but worth it. We never had a honeymoon or have ever had a vacation just the two of us. A mini get away would be a great idea! Keep inspiring !

A getaway to reconnect is what my husband and I need. Between working and working on remodeling our house we haven’t taken much time to ctay close. I want to do that now before we get older and farther apart.
