Why yes I did, I busted out the boot socks. Can you tell I am ready for fall?
It’s been a complete bum day weekend here at our house. The rain hasn’t stopped since Friday night and I’m kind of digging it.
We got out for church earlier, but besides that???
We’ve been in our jams, laying around, getting out every toy we own, and eating oreos.
Who let me buy 30 packs of oreos? GEEZ!
Sometimes it’s nice to have “nothing” weekends.
And I imagine…if tomorrow is rainy too? We shall do it all over again.
We went camping. Well sorta. We turned the ottoman in to a “campground”.
{See arrow – proof that Bents is literally always doing something ridiculous.}
And we ate cupcake batter on the counter…while we kicked our brother in the head.
A few things I have heard out of P’s mouth this weekend that made me go “hmmmm…”:
“Let’s just get rid of this baby.”
{Yes, I do believe he was talking about SJ. Poor SJ.}
“Mom, when you had babies did you scream really loud or did you just pray to God and say….please God, can you get this baby out of my belly button now.”
{Did he learn childbirth 101 at Kindergarten last week?}
“Hey mom, do you have two hands on the wheel?”
{That was on our way to church. I do believe I am raising a rule follower my friends.}
“If you give me more oreos I won’t tell Bentley.”
{Nice, a rule follower that knows how to lie.}
How’s your weekend going? Did you all have big plans or did you bum it like us?

I love nothing weekends too ๐ And don’t you love when they try to tell you how to drive like they know? I get “two hands, Mommy!” all the time.

You look adorable! You know I would come help you eat oreos (or any sweets, or anything ;)). Bents upside down in the basket, cracked me up! ๐

haha this made me laugh. I do have to question what your son is learning in kindergarten. A lot of talk about childbirth. HAHAHA. My favorite part though is him wanting to get “rid of this baby.”
And bumming sounds like the perfect kind of weekend!

Nathan asked me about childbirth this weekend too. First he asked me if Logan came out of my mouth. When I said no he asked if he came out the other hole he knows…where do they come up with this stuff?!

I’m pretty jealous of your weekend. We spent ours busting tail to finish prepping our old house to rent. Luckily we finished and renters are moving in this weekend! Hoping to have a bumming weekend very soon!

Okay…DYING over that picture of Bents upside down in the basket. Freaking classic!!! We did “real” camping this weekend…but pretty much bummed it the whole time. My outfit looked pretty similar to yours ๐ Now seriously…you guys NEED to get a camper. Then on weekends like this we can meet in the middle somewhere ๐
