I love this time of year, when there are TONS of fairs.
I use to care less about going to a fair.
Well that may be a lie. I do kinda die over the fair food.
But other than that…I could have cared less.
Now that I have an almost THREE year old…the fair is the place to be!
P would agree.
We started off on the carousel…and just like last year…it quickly went from wanting to be a big boy and sit on the horsey…to…
Nah…I think I will just hang out on the bench. It seems more safe.
That would be my cautious P Man.
Not.So.Daring.
And I’m not complaining.
Although half way through he wanted to sit as FAR AWAY from me as possible.
He told me, as I tried to put my arm around him, that I was being “too mom-ish”. (Where does he come up with this stuff?)
He did ride a few other rides by himself. Only because they wouldn’t let me on (Thank You JESUS).
And he was actually getting in to the motorcycles. I hope that’s not a foreshadow to the future.
Of course, he LOVED all the games. Fishing was his fav!
Probably because you can’t lose. Those smart fair people.
He wasted a good $20 on that dumb game. All we have to show for it…a cheap Nemo stuffed animal.
O-well. He was happy!
We even ran in to Aunnie while we were there!
And we finished up with one last boat ride. I thought he was going to fall asleep on the ride because he was so tired!
It was a successful fair trip!

Too cute!!! When I was a kid I LOVED the fair, too bad I don’t share close to the same enthusiasm for them now because my husband still wants to stop at everyone we see!

Looks like he’s thoroughly enjoying the rides, right alongside mommy–too cute! I always fell for the game where you picked a colored floating duck (with a number on the bottom of it) that determined your prize. Reminds me of how simple entertainment used to be!
