Have you checked under your couch lately? Because I can almost promise you that it does not have near as many treasured finds as mine just did. Ahem.
While I was away at the store my husband decided that he was going to rip apart the living room.
*aka: move the couch and clean underneath it.
I actually just thought he was letting SJ take the cushions off and play with them. At least that is what the scene looked like when I arrived at home…
But, then I noticed he had the vacuum out.
*Rare occasion*
I was pleasantly surprised.
And then…I see this giant bag of toys sitting on the kitchen counter. It struck me as odd because I was wondering where they had come from. Random items such as: Bible flash cards, drum sticks, fake pizza, a boat, underwear, a few cheetos, a Christmas bow, and legos.
A strange combination.
He politely told me…”Yea, those toys…were ALL under this couch. All of them. Every single last one of them. Oh, and 5 markers that I already put away.“
HA!
It’s safe to assume that I don’t clean under the couch very often. I guess I need to start adding that to my weekly “to-do” list.

LOL! Too funny! My favorite is finding sippy cups full of spoiled milk under my couch!! Only God knows how long they’ve been there!! Sometimes I am half tempted just to throw them in the trash because I can’t bare to open them!!
That’s funny! We had to flip our couch over recently to fix the recliner pull string thing and I found a handful of my daughters hair bows my hair ties! Haha! I guess we both take our hair down when we are snuggled on the couch!

Haha. I stay away from the underside of our couch as much as possible, between child toys AND dog toys…and Lord knows what else. 😉
Under our couches is a dirty, dusty mess! I really need to move them and vacuum the floor. I can look under there right now and see a bunch of random balls from Landon’s various ball popper toys, puzzle pieces, cat toys, and other random plastic junk. I’m too lazy to clean it all out, but I need to 🙂
My hubby moved our couch recently to clean underneath. Lets just say that it wasn’t pretty!
My aunt gave us a couch a few years ago, and when we were moving it into the house, we could hear that something was down inside it. It turned out to be about 6 universal remotes. They just kept buying new ones, I don’t know why it never occurred to them to look for the lost remotes in their couch. There were also lots of chapsticks, necklaces, and even some pictures.
I know we probably have about 47 balls, 10 cars, crayons, spoons, cheerios, fruit snacks, socks, etc…
I can’t move our couch alone and really if it is under there less to clean up!
