….when someone called interested in our house this morning! It hadn’t even been 24 hours since I put the sign in the yard and someone has already called. Really?
I felt VERY nervous when I was talking to them…mostly because we hadn’t even agreed on how much we were selling it for! I didn’t think someone would call the second the sign went up (especially in this market).
I am pretty sure it won’t amount to anything this time…but it sure did get my butt in gear…as soon as I got off the phone, J and I started cleaning out closets, having my dad measure exact square footage and tidying up the garage. Just in case.
Then I started thinking…holy crap…what if someone wants to buy my house? DUH! That’s the whole idea Mando…but really…I have to part with this house? I am sooo attached. I know I know…it will all be ok when I am in my new house, but for now….I am pretty sure I will CRY when this house goes.

Life goes on! I remember the day I left mine for our new house. Partly happy, partly sad – the mix strange emotion. You’ll get over it and will learn to love your new surroundings. Best of luck!

Change can be hard but it’s usually always good when you’re changing things on purpose. I hope all goes well for you during this process because it can definitely be stressful. Hang in there!

It’s such a bitter sweet thing to sell a house…you want to, but you don’t! We did this recently, also, and I totally drove up the street and sat in my car to watch the people who came to look! I even slunk (made-up word) down in my seat when I thought they looked my way!
Best of luck!
