You know who’s making me smile this week? Another man in my life {and no it’s not my hubby or my boys – although they make me smile too}…it’s my DAD!
If you’ve been a reader for any amount of time then you know how handy dandy my pops is.
He can do just about ANYTHING when it comes to fixing things, building things, working on things, making things.
You name it…he knows how to do it.
You probably saw his most recent project at our house which was the fireplace makeover. And that is just a snippet of what he is capable of and what he has done to help customize our home.
And the picture above is him in my closet…finished project pictures to come!
So thankful to have a man like this in my life! Thank you dad for all you do to make our house our home! We appreciate you!

Your Dad is such a little gem, and you really are one lucky lady! My Daddy-o is also a carpenter (he built our house and a lot of others around our town) and when Carl and I move back home I will feel VERY blessed when he can help make our house customized and beautiful. Dad’s are the best, and yours is no exception! Your fireplace is stunning, just as your kitchen, dining room and other ‘Dad projects’ have turned out 🙂

How awesome is your Dad.. You are so lucky.. My Dad is no longer able to be handy and we sure do miss it. But at least he can direct my husband to-do all of it.

I love Rick! He is such a talented guy 🙂 And I understand completely how amazing it is to have a talented Dad who is always willing to help. As you know, my Dad has done a ton for us too and my friends get so jealous of his carpentry skills. We are two lucky girls!!!! Can’t wait to see your finished closet!! I am sure it looks amazing 🙂

Your dad is awesome! I wish my dad was a handy man. He’s not. My mom always did the tool work around our house when I was growing up.
Well I can also say that my dad is an all around person because he does everything too.. He can be a plumber and at the same time can be a carpenter too..

I am totally jealous of both yours and Jen’s dads. Mine died (from not wearing his seatbelt, no joke!) when I was nine. 🙁 And then my step dad died three years ago. Ugh! My hubby isn’t too handy but he tries! We definitely aren’t a great “DIY” couple but oh well. We do what we can!
