I almost skipped this month’s link up.
And then it hit me….
NO MANDY. YOU MAY NOT SKIP THE HAPPIEST TIME OF THE MONTH.
I would have been going against the exact reason I promised myself I was going to do this link up to begin with….TO STOP…and appreciate the good in life.
Life gets busy and we all “don’t have time” for things so it’s so important to take a step back, breathe, and remember the happy moments.

- I do not normally buy myself new handbags. For a few reasons: 1. It’s not in my budget and 2. It’s not in my budget. 🙂 But occasionally I like to splurge and treat myself to something nice. I figured that after 6 years of diaper bags…it was time for a pretty purse that didn’t have a changing pad in it. I think I just graduated from being a baby momma to being a big kid momma. Milestone.
- I think my obsession this fall/winter is going to be polka-dots. Last year it was stripes.
- My MIL is a keeper. Like straight-up wanna convince her to move from Vegas to Illinois. I forgot to mention that J’s step-mom {pictured below on the right} has been helping out with the kids lately too. Of course, my mom is fabulous help as well {and she lives down the block}. I feel so lucky that my boys get to have all of these wonderful women in their lives.

My Mom gets my kids once a month for a weekend, so I get a regular break. It is great when the hubby is home, but since he isn’t right now, I do get kind of lonely and miss him even more. But I am making myself hang out with people the weekend she has them. I am celebrating my birthday early with a few of my girl-friends. So it should be awesome.

I have an affection for handbags! I only buy my Coach bags from the outlet since that is where I have found the best deals.

That is awesome that you get a overnight sitter once a month!! So fantastic. I know I feel so refreshed after a break from the kids. It doesn’t even have to be a long break…just a short one makes all the difference in the world.
You are blessed to have such a great MIL. And your boys are so stinking cute! Yes, I can’t say it was always great, but we have become close now and I just love how much she wants to help!! It’s amazing!
Mandy!!! I wish we lived closer gosh darn it!! First of all, your lashes look amaze in this vlog! I’m obsessed with gorgeous natural lashes (can’t do the falsies). Also, what a blessing to have an MIL like that! It’s the stuff of dreams, I tell you! And lastly, love the bag!! So super cute! I’m all about the outlets when it comes to designer bags. My mom is the same way. She was here last month and watched the kids for 4 days while John and I went to Key West. It was awesome. And she always does my laundry too. She’s a little obsessive when it comes to laundry which I don’t mind at all!
That’s awesome! Doesn’t it make such a huge difference when you get a small break from motherhood? I feel like a million bucks when I get back from an overnight without kids. Haha!
Can your MIL come to my house for 15 days??!! Jealous :-} LOVE LOVE LOVE that handbag! Kate Spade is one of my favorite splurges (which happens every 5+ years?!) Enjoy the wedding!
Haha! I tried to beg her to stay for 3 weeks instead of 2, but unfortunately she had to go back. Darn!
