Is it bad that I am recapping NYE this late?

Maybe.

I had already uploaded the pics. AND honestly, the night was too fun not to jot in the memory books!

It seems like every year they “hype” of NYE gets me all negative. Maybe after you have kids you realize that NYE is just another night. No fancy dinners, night clubs, formal parties, or staying out all hours of the night. That pretty much ends when you start a family. At least for us.

We have been playing it “low key” these past few NYE’s…and it’s honestly been way more fun than when we use to get all dressed up and go out.

This year our friends, The Webb’s, were in the same boat we were in. No babysitter boat. You all know that boat right?

I mean what happened to when teenagers use to WANT to babysit on NYE. I remember my NYE’s  as a teen and all I did was babysit. These days…teens have their own parties to attend!

I actually ended up getting my “go to” babysitter to come and stay with Bents at the last minute. Which was nice, being that he is in bed by 6:00 pm, she had it pretty easy that night.

P Man came with us because the Webb’s have 2 boys that P loves to play with.

As you can see, CG spent NYE with us as well.

Tom and J decided they were going to see who could get a cookie from their forehead to their mouths the fastest…without using their hands.

Random. And very funny too.

J actually won. Is that something to be proud of? I think not.

Then it was time for a little Wii Dance Off!

Can I just say…why have I not been playing this before now?! It was literally hilarious! And SO MUCH FUN! Especially for a dancer at heart like myself! Haha!

They boys even got in on the fun…and I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard.

My husband literally thought he was Joe from NKOTB when we performed Step-By-Step! And I was so sweaty from dancing my booty off that I had to take my socks off and roll up my pants.

P Man and Logan actually stayed up late enough to ring in the new year with us!

The fact that I stayed awake past midnight was a true accomplishment.
