So not me. All I know how to do is pose. Like a normal person.
Because, you see, I never went to modeling 101. In fact, I wasn’t even on the Homecoming court. So the runway is not really my thang’.
Linda did help me come out of my shell a little bit. Let’s just say…she knows how to capture the moment WAY better than Jeff Rose. He is the primary reason I don’t do more fashion posts.
Every time he photographs me…I trash the pictures before there’s even a chance they could be seen on social media. By anyone.
I appreciate his effort {ha!}, but I have given up on hoping I will ever get a successful photo shoot with him behind the camera. Not even my editing skills can help his lack of photography expertise.

I had no idea I would fall in love with short boots. I think I remember saying last year, “Short boots are so ugly.”
I’m officially retracting that statement. Short boots are where it’s at ladies. Go get yourself some.

It is so nice to hear that someone else feels the same way about taking photos of herself!! I typically stand in our yard while my husband or daughter takes my blog pictures. Between him laughing at me, the dogs sitting on my feet, and my daughter doing leaps in front of the camera, I cant get a good shot for anything. On a side note, I am addicted to short boots too and you look totally adorable!! Your photos look great and I am amazed that you can get pictures without those three cuties running in! LOVE the whole look. I am FINALLY getting back into fashion after dropping the baby weight from baby #4. For now, I’m pretty content shopping in my own closet!!!! And YES to short boots, so chic!
Ugh…photo shoots feel so unnatural, period. Unless you’re a supermodel I suppose. I give so much credit to all the photographers that can make us look natural even when we don’t feel that way!
