Here I go again, sharing another recipe. A Creamy Chicken Florentine Recipe. *gasp*
If you haven’t noticed…I’ve been cooking a lot lately. The hubs is greatly appreciative. Ahem.
And I might even admit that there is a small {teeny tiny} bit of me that enjoys it. Remember I said small.
Or maybe it’s more of the fact that I like food photography?
I mean, who doesn’t appreciate such a STILL object to photograph?!?! I don’t get that with the kiddos. I’m usually chasing them with the camera and then I’m lucky if I get a shot that’s not blurry.
But, food? Ahhh, food is so motionless.
Glorious.
So what if I cheated and used the Philadelphia Cooking Creme. You should know by now that I like things made easy. And quick.
I’ve made some pretty lovely pasta dishes in the past {tooting my own horn}, but I must admit, none of them have been this simple!
It even comes with a suggested recipe on the back of the container. Does it get much simpler? I think not.
I did tweak the recipe some by adding more of my favorite things and taking out a few that I didn’t have on hand.
This Creamy Chicken Florentine is definitely one you should give a try!
- 1 container (10 oz) Philadelphia Savory Garlic Cooking Creme
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut in to cubes
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup green pepper strips
- 1 pkg (6 oz) baby spinach leaves
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- 3 cups penne pasta
- Boil water and cook your penne pasta. Heat your oil in large skillet over medium heat. Cook the cubed chicken and peppers until chicken is done. Add in Philadelphia Cooking Creme and cherry tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes or until heated through. Stir in spinach and drained pasta and continue to cook on medium to low heat for 5 minutes.
