We needed to find some wall art for the house and there is absolutely no where around where we live to do that. So hubby and I decided to pack up and head to St. Louis for a mini shopping trip.

Plus, it was a good excuse to go visit the Luna’s! Especially since P needed to deliver Claire her birthday gift.

We were hoping to shop at the ZGallery, but when we arrived at the mall…we found out that they had CLOSED! So disappointed! I also wanted to go to PBK…and that too…CLOSED! SERIOUSLY? Where have I been?

It ended up working out ok because we went to a home store right by Amy and Dan’s and found some great pieces for the house. In fact, we found sooo much stuff that it barely all fit in the back of the Tahoe.

After a LONG afternoon of shopping with TWO kids (in the rain)…we were glad to head to the Luna’s house to SIT DOWN and RELAX! P had been talking about “Cwaires howse” ALL DAY and he was so excited to play with all of her toys.

We had planned to go to dinner together, but hubby and I were not about to battle another public place with a 2 year old and a newborn. We were DONE FOR! And we were having a good time just visiting while the kids played.

And snacked.

And even though P won’t eat any vegetables himself…he had no problem feeding them to Claire!

I will have to post some pics of the wall art we bought! Papa is on his way over to help me hang them right now!
