When I found out that baby #3 was going to be yet ANOTHER boy…I wasn’t disappointed in the fact that I would have 3 boys…but I was a little worried about how I would come up with decorations for ANOTHER BOY ROOM!
Those of you who have boys, know that the selection is limited when it comes to cute decorations. So, to be faced with one more boy room makeover….I started breaking out in hives.
Here was my criteria for the new baby’s room:

something that will match my PoshTots glider
-
different from P and Bents room (color wise)
-
something that allowed me to use Stilz and Circa (giraffe and elephant from Aunnie)
-
somewhat modern
I stumbled upon this fabric palette on etsy and immediately LOVED it! It had grey, to match the glider. Elephants and giraffes. Seemed modern enough. AND is not the colors of the other two boys’ rooms.
PERFECT!
My main fabric will be B, the animals. I am going to use that for the bumper and a few throw pillows AND possible part of the blanket/quilt. I won’t be using D (even though I think it’s fabulously retro). It doesn’t go with the animals. The curtains will be done in H…love the groovy funky feeling it offers while still matching the animals. I wanted to do the crib skirt in F, but so far the fabric is sold out. Stills searching.
I am having someone local I know make everything for me!
I think it will match the glider just lovely!
I think I will do the walls in a light grey and dark grey with the vertical stripes on at least one wall.
The vision I have in my head is super cute. Now…if I can make it come to life!
Oh I love it, all of the fabrics go perfectly with your glider and it’s just the right amount of modern for a nursery! I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

I was so excited to find your pictures!!! I am having a boy…mine and my husband’s first child, but like you I had such a hard time looking for something that I felt was not so traditional baby. I wanted something more modern:) Who did you find to make the bumper and crib skirt? I was wondering if they were reasonably priced.
