We decided that, after jumping out of his crib TWICE, that it was time to convert P to a big boy bed.
I am actually shocked we were able to keep him in the crib as long as we did.
Hey, I was waiting till the last minute. I like child confinement. Don’t judge. 🙂
It is official now though…my little P Monster…is a BIG BOY!
He even posed for me…feaking his sleep and all…so I could get a pic of him in his newly converted bed!
I must admit he has been doing FANTASTIC!! It’s almost like nothing has changed. The first few nights it took me awhile to get him to go down (maybe 10:30 pm or so), but he sleeps all the way through the night…and most of the time…has to be woken up by J or I in the mornings to go to gigi’s house.
It’s nap time that has been a little more interesting. See. Most of the time, he just wants to nap right here….
…on the couch.
I guess I’m okay with that since he doesn’t seem to be bothered by the tv and will still nap 2+ hours. Can’t complain.
Especially since when Bentley arrives…I will NEED P to still nap 2+ hours…FOR MY SANITY.
Speaking of B’s arrival. Peanut #2 should be popping out any time now. I thought I was in labor yesterday. I woke up at 4:00 am and was having contractions that were 15 to 20 minutes apart for over 4 hours. But then they STOPPED! And I’ve only had a few since.
However, I saw the doc today and I am dilated to a “good” THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He even said the baby’s head was VERY VERY LOW and ready! He said he thinks I will go any time! I guess now it’s just a waiting game….
COME ON BENTLEY!

He looks so sweet in his big boy bed! It goes by so fast, doesn’t it? I hope Ella will stay in her crib as long as P did! Can’t wait to hear when baby Bentley is born! We are thinking about you guys! 🙂

How exciting! I remember when my second ds was born. My oldest was 2.75 yrs and he would tell everyone, “you be careful with my Drew brother”. It was the cutest thing and he was so protective of him. We called him the kissing bandit because we could not get him to stop kissing his baby brother. I am so excited for you!
