Consider the title of this post a quote from my waistline.
You know. The waistline that had disappeared when I was BIG and preggers like here!
This picture was taken the day I went in to labor. I love how I changed my face from a smile to a frown. What a perfect way to express my thoughts on how I felt at that moment.
I officially gained 35 lbs. Yes. I said it. THIRTY FIVE POUNDS. And 35 lbs on someone who started out at a weight of 105…is quite a bit of weight.
Apparently my waistline has missed me because it has returned!
Thank you Jesus!
I can FINALLY button my pre-pregnancy jeans without feeling like I might stop breathing.
Don’t get me wrong. I still have a few more pounds I could lose to get back to where I was before Bentley was born. But, honestly…I am kinda digging the few pounds that have stayed.
Whoever said there was anything wrong with a little junk in the trunk.
My husband is back to calling my booty “bootylicious”. Lord knows what he was calling it when I was 9 months pregnant. Nonetheless…I’ll take bootylicious as a compliment. 🙂
Now I just need to work on toning. Because pre-pregnancy jeans or not…an almost EIGHT pound baby doesn’t do pretty things to your tummy.
*side note: P was sitting next to me as I wrote this post. Quote from him: “Wook mommy. You fat. I vanna see you fat mommy.” Nice.
