Family pictures usually STRESS me out! Literally.
It goes like this?
What time should we schedule them? We need to make sure Bents isn’t tired…or hungry…or sick. What should the boys wear? What should I wear? What should my husband wear? Should we coordinate? Should the boys match? Do we need props? Where should we do the shoot? Will P Man cooperate? Will he agree to wear pants? And on and on and on………..
Type A. It happens.
But, luckily, when I asked my friend Katie do come take some shots of us, she was all about it! She’s type A like me, so she could appreciate my personality flaw when it came to when, what time, and where decisions. I think. 🙂
I have known Katie since I was a little girl! We use to take dance classes together as kids. We recently reconnected through blogging! How cool is that?! And she is an amazing photographer!
We decided to do the pictures at our house (where the boys would be most comfortable). We had hoped to do them outside, but the weather didn’t quite cooperate with us as much as we would have liked. Although, I am pretty darn impressed with the few we did outside (despite the nasty weather)!
Katie was great to work with and so so kind. She did a great job with the kiddos. She has a little boy close to P’s age, whom…if you have not seen…you MUST click here and check out her blog. He is one adorable little man!
