This year was suppose to be the year that hubby and I were not buying eachother anything.

You know how that goes right? I am sure you have all tried this game.

However, this year, I thought we were serious (my first mistake) since we are building the new house. I mean…the amount of money we have spent in the last 6 months on the house  is ENOUGH to last us for the next 27 gift giving holidays.

But, nope…not in hubby’s opinion. He STILL had to go all out. As usual. He bought me something that I have always wanted…but would never splurge and spend the money on.

A NEW CANON REBEL T1i!!

I can’t even lie. I’m kind of in love with it. It takes AMAZING pictures! It will take me some time to learn how to use it (and the additional lense he bought me)…but even on the automatic setting…I’m SUPER impressed.

Then…as if that wasn’t enough…my parents spoiled me with a new one of these…

How perfect will this be in my new kitchen?! Hopefully it will make me motivated to cook more! I can’t wait to try it out. I have been wanting a kitchenaid mixer FOREVER!
