It’s no secret that I love stripes. LOVEEEEE stripes.
Always have.
There was a period in my wardrobe life that just about every other shirt in my closet had some form of stripes on it. :/
After writing the fashion post for Pinterest Told Me To…I started to realize that it was fun to recreate outfits that I saw on Pinterest.

I also realized that 9 out of 1o of the outfits I wanted to recreate all involved stripes.
Go figure.
While I was in St. Louis a few weeks ago for the The Financial Blogger Conference I had one of my favorite fashion girls, Linda from Rose a la Mode, help me style some outfits and do a few photo shoots. Let’s just say we skipped some sessions to play dress up.
And it was FUN. Oh my gosh it was fun.
You know I typically have to do boy stuff for fun. Which I’m not complaining about {or am I?}.
I even had some people who were walking down the street as we were taking pics look at us and say, “Senior pics?”
Bahaha! Bless their sweet little hearts.

I immediately stopped the photo shoot to tell them, “God bless you….but I’m 32.”
Linda said I should have played it off. Oh to be that young again. Ha!
One of my favorite parts of this outfit was the Threads I wore from The Shine Project.
And THIS striped shirt from Ella Madison Boutique is now my “go to” shirt when I want to feel like I’m 15 years younger. Ha!
Which is everyday by the way. Ahem.

That shirt is gorgeous- I love it!! I’m not a huge stripe wearer (although I’m wearing them today!) but I do love them. I often dress my son in stripes actually- little boys look great in stripes!

I’ve been trying to force myself to step away from the stripes. My husband always says “let me guess you are going to buy the one with the stripes”.
A) You are precious! B) Blue is totally your color! C) I bet any color would look good on you because you have the most perfect coloring. D) I love that you are rocking the braid! I love a good braid!
