I had such a wonderful time last week watching your videos. I know how scary vlogging can be for some people and I was honestly prepared to have absolutely no one link up.
I thought it may take a few weeks before any one would get the courage or the desire to vlog with me. ๐
But, you all surprised the pants off me! Not only did we have eleven people link up, but 10 of you…had NEVER vlogged before! I’m pretty darn proud of you girls! It was so fun getting to see you behind the camera and learning a little bit more about you.
I know that this link up is definitely helping me become a better vlogger. It’s holding me accountable. Not to mention that I am learning from all of you!
This week I had so many things to be thankful for, but…trying to hold true to my promise of a 2-4 minute video, I had to narrow it down and just pick 2 things. I still went over 4 minutes (OOPS!), but only by a few seconds.
If you are interested in linking up here is all you need to do:
1. Film a vlog about:
– Something you are thankful for
– Something that has made you happy this week
or
– Something that you are loving this week (could be a product if you want)
or a combination of all three!
It really is open-ended in hopes that everyone can find something to vlog about!
2. Post it on your blog and let people know that you are participating in the “Stop and Smell the Roses” vlog link up.
I will ask that you please link back to my site.
3. Post your link below
Be sure to come back throughout the day and watch everyone’s vlogs!
Anyone is welcome! Newbie vloggers or pro’s alike!
Here is some information on the cameras we use to shoot our videos.
If you are interested in helping the victims of the tornado please consider donating to the Red Cross.

Literally that story about Parker taking the quarter brought tears to my eye. How sweet is he!?
Cate says
The damage in Harrisburg made me cry. I have not seen any pictures of it yet. Small towns are such a great place to live. Everyone helps out when something happens. You and Jeff are awesome parents. Parker is such a great kid! Continue to raise him to love Jesus! His quarter story was so cute and I love that he wanted to give his quarter to Jesus.

I’m praying for those affected by the tornado’s. I just moved from Tornado Valley (Tennessee) and my heart goes out to all of the families suffering state to state. So glad it didn’t come any closer to you all.
What a sweet little boy you have. Giving instead of receiving is a hard thing to do.
