As I was writing my Jamaica recap post, I realized that I never did a final recap on our two week RV trip.
I blogged EVERY single day of the trip, but I never did a post that linked all of the posts together (to make it easy for you to follow along in case you were thinking of taking an RV trip).
Our journey began in St.Louis, Missouri in June of 2014. We set out on a mission to drive to the Grand Canyon. We literally had no plans of where we would stop or sleep.
It was definitely a spontaneous way to travel. Ha!
We traveled over 3,500 miles and made stops in Stanton, MO – Tulsa, OK – Amarillo, TX – Albuquerque, NM – Flagstaff, AZ – Williams, AZ – THE GRAND CANYON – Durango, CO – Gunnison, CO – Colorado Springs, CO – Topeka, KS – Eureka, MO and back to St. Louis, MO.

I Survived 14 Days In An RV – Someone Give Me An Award
One of the best decisions I made was to document this trip daily. The memories we made in those 14 days are ones that we will cherish forever.
I may not be the camping type, but I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. After my husband takes me to the beach a few more times of course. Ahem.
If you are interested in taking an RV trip with your family then check out my husband’s post on how much it cost us.

I loved reading your daily posts during your rv trip. This summer we are heading on a 2 week trip with our camper. We have done week long trips camping, but are going for 2 weeks this summer. We also have 3 boys, the ages 10-15 years. Trips like these are so memorable! Our kids told us a few years back, during our black hills trip that it was better than Disneyland!!! Love the adventure!

We have been wanting to do a RV trip forever! This post is motivating me to actually do it! Question: I’ve been trying to decide and find out if I need to put my 3 year old in a car seat while traveling in an RV. What did you guys do??

This is a trip we’d like to try. Although with teenagers I’m not sure how it would go. We may try to do this in 2016 or 17. Love reading about all your adventures.

What brand are those comfy pants you are wearing in these photos? I feel like I’ve seen you wear those in photos a few times and they look so comfy.

They are Lululemon and I LOVE them! Wear them all the time. Obviously! LOL!
