My friend Jen from A Daily Dose of Davis and her wonderful momma Jan just recently opened their own etsy shop called…

When she told me they would be opening up a shop I was so excited!

Why?

Well, you see, I have known Jen and Jan {the double J’s – hehe!} since college. And I have never known them to make anything that was less than perfect.

When I found out that they would be selling their perfect little creations…I couldn’t have been more happy.

Jen ALWAYS has the cutest handmade stuff and I was a little envious. But now that I have the chance to buy it…I’m pumped!

Seriously!

Here’s a little blurb about how they came upon starting their shop:

For as long as I can remember, my mom and I have wanted to start a business together. We each have our own special talents but there are two things we’ve always had in common:

1. A love of crafting
2. An obsession with polka dots

This of course is how we eventually decided on our name. We both tend to gravitate towards polka dots and flowers (which you will notice in most of our products) and we thought what better way to represent who we are and what we love! And so…The Polka Dot Posie was born, along with our dream of being a mother/daughter team. There is no greater partner (and friend) than my mom, and we are both SO EXCITED to share our wonderful products with all of you!

I think I may have been the first customer to order from them when they opened back in April because I was literally stalking their page until I could buy something! 🙂

Less than a week after I made my purchase something lovely arrived at my doorstep…

I seriously LOVE it! I have gotten TONS of compliments on it.

They even threw in this free camera strap for helping spread the word about their new shop! 

I also ordered the boys some adorable presonalized hooded towels! Let me just tell ya…these things are not just towels…they dub as Superman capes.

I swear.

And as much as I wanted to get a picture of the boys all snuggled up in them fresh out of the bath…it wasn’t happening. The second the hood goes on the head…they turn in to Superman and OFF they go!
