It’s week 7 of Stop and Smell the Roses!
This week I’m sharing two of my favorite beauty products that I have been using since college! I wish I could say college was yesterday.
Pssst.
More like yesterday times 2,920 days. Do the math. It’s a good 8 years. More like 10 if I start from freshman year.
I figured the fact that they have been a staple in this household for over 8 years…they are worthy of sharing with others! Haha!

Last week was one of my favorite weeks of Stop and Smell the Roses! We had almost 20 people join the vlog party and I watched every single vlog! I feel like I know some of you WAY more than I did 7 weeks ago and I’m loving it!
I mention this week to try and keep our vlogs between 2-3 minutes. I am SOOOOO bad at this. For real. When I am preaching…I’m mostly preaching to myself! Not so much to you! LOL! Sometimes I just want to keep talking to you all!
The only reason I am suggesting that we all try it is so that everyone has a chance to watch your vlog. I know many of you are super busy and don’t have tons of time to watch each vlog if each of them are 5+ minutes long.
In fact, one of my best friends told me that her attention span is 2 minutes max. She said, “if your vlog is over 2 minutes I’ll have to cut you off.” Hehe!
Oh the honesty!
Don’t worry, if your vlog is longer this week it is totally fine! I am thinking we should try to implement the 2-3 minute suggestion for week 8? What are your thoughts on that?
Other than that…no rules for this vlogging meme! All you have to do is record a video telling us what has been making you happy this week (or last). Check out all the vlog party details here.

Okay, so I am terrible keeping my videos short!! I definitely need to work on that! At first, I was just concerned about getting it done & getting it edited….I wasn’t as concerned about time! Okay… LOVING your makeup this week. Looks different than usual? I don’t know… But SO cute! You look great (every week!) girl! I’m definitely going to be trying out that hairspray because I hate “heavy” hairspray. Can’t wait! Also kind of ironic that you mentioned the video time… Oopsies! Sometimes I get on a rant! LOL. Do you know what’s hilarious…I actually remember you with your Pantene hairspray!!! I can distinctly remember this one time when Amy and I were laughing at you because you had a can of it in your car, in your dance bag, in your purse and in your bathroom. Haha! I guess I should try this…considering it is about a 1/3 of the cost of the stuff I buy now. Great vlog as always honey! I’m linking up now.
Love the Victoria’s Secret Heavenly mist! I actually have some in my bathroom cabinet right now. Just like you said, perfect for smelling good, but not overpowering. Also, totally agree with the 2-3 minute suggestion. I’ll try to keep that in mind next week. It’ll definitely help in being able to watch everyone’s vlogs. 🙂
VS Heavenly mist is one of my favorites. I bought my first bottle in High School! GAH. I like the 2-3 minute suggestion and I stuck to it this week.
