P man was a “purple super star” at school yesterday {which means he was extra good} so I promised him his very favorite for breakfast this morning…cinnamon rolls.
They woke up pretty excited about it…understatement. And excited means that we have to invade SJ’s crib and have a bounce party.
Don’t worry…I saved SJ before he got body slammed by Bents. But P Man was not so lucky.
It seems like the older SJ gets the more he adores his daddy. More so than any of the other boys at that age. In fact, P and Bents were total mommy boys at 17 months, but not SJ.
Nope, he likes his “da-da”.
The weather here has been amazing and so we took the chance to play on the back patio this morning. The boys couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t put water in the water table. “Too cold” doesn’t register with 1 & 2 year olds.
Apparently neither does “no” because Bents was not listening when I told him not to climb in the table.
Such a great role model for SJ. And I wonder why SJ is turning crazy????
After I finally got him to listen about staying out of the water table he decided that he would put all the chairs on top of the storage bins. He pretty much begged me to let SJ get up there. Ummm, no.
I am enjoying this day full of nothingness so the last thing I want to do is take a trip to the ER.
Such a cute little devil.
I posted this picture on Instagram, but honestly…I had to post it here because it melts my heart. A true glimpse at how much they adore hanging with daddy.
I think we may hit up Fazzoli’s for lunch and then swing by Hobby Lobby for some decoration shopping.
Ambitious? Wishful thinking?
Probably.
I am planning my friend Kelly’s “Sip & See” {for Miss Baylor} and I need to get my butt in gear. This week I tried to bust out my camera skills and took some newborn shots of her. She is seriously a DOLL baby! I am no professional, but luckily my subject made it easy. Pictures to come…
What are your weekend plans? Will you be laying low like us?

I love the pictures of your boys, I’m so glad I’m not the only one with a couple wild things running around! I’m taking my boys camping this weekend, we can’t wait!

Omg Mandy, that pic of you on the stool makes me so nervous! No wonder Bents climbs on everything! Its in his blood! 🙂

We will be celebrating my birthday and hanging out at home. I do plan to do a little birthday shopping for myself though. 🙂
Have a great weekend!

I love seeing how excited my baby boy gets when he sees his daddy. It’s the best. I really hope he turns into a daddy’s boy.
I love you up on the stool. Makes me laugh that you previously talk about getting your boys to come down off things to avoid the ER and yet…there you are. 😉

The grass-cutting picture is heart-melting. My boys are daddy’s boys (at least a lot of the time) too.

Your two happy boys are basket of smiles. Their cute faces are very very lovely. I want to return back at my childhood where i have enjoyed many fun and enjoyments like your boys.

Your rambunctious boys crack me up – they are definitely BOYS! And that picture of SJ on Jeff’s lap melts my heart – he reminds me of Rhys! And since you know what Rhys looks like, you know I am in the same my-son-looks-nothing-like-me bucket. But seeing SJ right next to Jeff makes me feel like SJ has a lot of Mandy in him!! Cutie patootie!
