Hey, laundry is not my favorite past-time. If you have boys then you know that…clothes…are optional until you are five.

I try to keep my house fairly picked up and clean. You know, just in case you were to pop in and say hello.  But, my kids? I can’t always promise you they are “visitor ready”. In fact, they will most likely need 3 minutes to throw on some pants.

We built our home in 2011 and ever since…I’ve had my dad working on a constant Pinterest project.

Lucky for us, he is free labor. I wouldn’t have been able to do HALF of the stuff in our home if it weren’t for his help.

I was just wondering if you could tell me where you got some things from the master bedroom (the bedframe, the frames and other stuff on the wall behind on bed, the lamps) basically everything in that room because I am moving into a new home and want to copy this room so badly!!   14. I love your house! It is beautiful! I am trying to decide if I want my tv over my fireplace. I want to be able to decorate my mantle. We will have built in’s on both sides of the fireplace. I am afraid if I put the tv on one shelf that you won’t be able to see it from all seats in the room. Any thoughts?

  17. Great job! I am a decorator and one of my biggest decor supplier or should I say where I buy most of my decor is Hobby Lobby! I noticed a lot of things from there in your home too, it’s neat to see how someone else implements things from HL into their home. Great ideas and design!

    • Thank you! It’s been over a year ago. I did see it in the last catalog I got from them though. It was black in the catalog.

    • We used a local architect to draw up custom plans. I am guessing you don’t live near me or I would give you his information. Haha!

    • Thanks! Unfortunately I got this dining room set over 10 yrs ago from a local furniture store. I know that doesn’t help you much. 🙂 They have this style of chairs just about everywhere….try HomeDecorators.com.
