If you are new here and are interested in joining us for Stop & Smell the Roses vlog link up, no worries..go check out my vlogging page for full details.
I absolutely can not believe it’s been 2 months since my last vlog! I was a little rusty this week when I went to film my video, but I am so glad to be BACK and to be vlogging again!
I’m even MORE excited to see you guys behind the camera. I have missed your pretty faces!
Thankfully I filmed my video early {thank you type A self} because I got the flu on Monday night…and I’m still down! Bleck! Definitely not something that is making me smile. Haha! P now has it and I have a feeling people will be dropping like flies around here.

Video Comments:
- Emi-Jay Hair Ties, as seen on celebs such as Jennifer Aniston, can be found here {in a gazillion fabulous colors and styles}.
Something else I love about them, but forgot to mention? They look like cute little bracelets around your wrist when you are not wearing it in your hair.
- Dollars and Roses is a blog started by my husband and I where we are teaching people how we make money online and offering tips & tutorials for blogging basics.
In case you didn’t see the new schedule, here it is! We will be vlogging the FIRST Wednesday of every month! You know what that means? More time to get your vlogs filmed! See, no excuses now. 😉
A few things before we get started:
1. Film a short vlog {2 minutes is ideal} talking about something that you are thankful for or anything that is making you smile {could even be a product your loving}. 2. Link up your vlog to the Stop & Smell the Roses vlog link up 3. Please include a text link back to this post {I’ll have a new button you can grab soon}. 4. Party hop! Visit the other vlogs and leave some comment love! Can’t wait to see y’all!

So glad SSTR is back! I need to try those hair ties. My mom wears a hair tie every day and I keep telling her it’s so bad for her hair. I need to get her some of these.
Kala says
I’ll definitely have to try those hair ties, too! I also get headaches quite a bit – so anything to help with that is great!
Congrats on getting your basement finished! Is this also your first S&STR video with the “Apple” background? I’m not gonna lie, I’ll be a little bummed I don’t get to creep on how your house looks in the background anymore!
Tonya @ Love of Family & Home says
Yay for the finished basement!! That’s so exciting!! I can’t wait to see it in person!!
Hope the flu bug makes its way out of your house really soon!! We just got over all that & I know how miserable it is!! Thanks for hosting!!

Happy to “see” you again!! Love your vlog link-up. You are really setting the bar high with your video girl, not sure you’d want to see me in my kitchen in my pjs 😉 I’m looking forward to seeing you in person in March!
Anna says
How funny is it that I vlogged about those hair ties too! I’ve been dying to get some and saw them at my salon last night!
Glad your basement is finished and even happier SSTR is back!

Loving the cute hair ties! May have to invest in some:) Isn’t it fab to have your basement done? We finished ours awhile back and I love hanging out there!
Angela says
Glad to hear your basement is done…that is funny about the UPS man and all the video equipment in your bedroom! haah I’ll have to check out the hair ties, I workout a lot and need something tight, but after a couple days of my hair in a tight pony it does start to hurt, and I mean hurt my poor head. ughhh I feel like I need a massage just for my head!
Nancy says
I love your vlog link-up! What a great way to get to hear the voices behind the blogs! I did my first one today and it was not as easy as it looks. Sheesh. Anyway…I can’t wait to see pics of your finished basement and I pray you and your family get over this flu super quick. Thanks for being an inspiration! 🙂

I talked about our basement in my video too. We are still working on it right now and hopefully we will be able to move down there soon. I need to check out those hair ties. So glad to be back to vlogging. I was a little rusty, but it will get back to normal soon.
Kenzie @ Life According to Kenz says
Your hair is getting so stinkin’ long! I LOVE it! Yay on your basement and the studio/guest room. Even though it’ll be awhile before I come to move in. 😉 Hehe!
I totally linked up late tonight but I wouldn’t miss it for the world! This was my very first link up in blog land and I’ve missed it so much!
Love you girl! 🙂

I love the hair ties!! I bought some off brand ones at Target and they didn’t hold my hair tight enough…I was constantly having to take my down and put it back up. Maybe the actual EmiJay ones are what I need!!
So glad the link-up is back!!
