I’ve been dying to do a What I Wore Wednesday post hosted by the lovely Pleated Poppy, but…as you know…Wednesday’s are all about Stop and Smell the Roses. So I thought I would go ahead and post this on Tuesday…who’s to say I can’t still link up tomorrow right?
I have been obsessed with colored denim ever since I went to Blissdom back in February. I had this great pair of cobalt blue jeans and I literally wanted to wear them everyday of the week. That’s probably the only issue I have with colored denim…I’m pretty sure that people would noticed if I wore cobalt blue jeans more than two days in a row.
Darn!
This past weekend the hubby gave me a free few hours to hit up the mall…ALONE. Kid-less. By myself.
Amazingness.
And I knew that if I didn’t return home with a new pair of colored denim pants I would probably cry. And then take it out on my husband in some sick way.
Luckily I found these coral denim leggings and I knew I had to have them!
I am usually VERY picky about my pants. Since our shopping choices are extremely limited around here I was not very optimistic about finding a pair of acceptable pants…especially at American Eagle. I use to shop at AE, but I was more like 21 not 31.
But honestly…I am loving their colored denim! And they were less than $50!
It was quite difficult to have a photo shoot with 3 kiddos running around the house. About 80% of the pics included shots like these…
Oh Bents. Always gotta be pushing somebody.
I already had the shirt, necklace, and shoes that I paired with the coral denim.
If you are looking for colored denim I would highly recommend AE! I think I may go back and get the yellow ones. Because seriously…wouldn’t YELLOW denim pants be awesome?

Cute outfit! I’ve been wanting some of these too but they always look like super skinny jeans…they are cute! I think the yellow would be cute! That’s one of my favorite colors!

Love it!! I’ve got a pair of pinkish/coral denim in my closet waiting on a few pounds to be shed before I can wear them and I can’t wait! I’ve been wanting to get yellow for a while too after seeing a post that showed yellow denim and a bunch of different options of what to wear with them. Of course, I’d love blue, green, etc, etc… 🙂

I’ve been on a shopping hiatus but am needing to break it to get coloured denim. Love the brighter colours so much (pastels are not very me)
