I am posting some updated pictures of our master bedroom. The previous post I had published had pictures of this room that I took with my iphone. I am getting quite a bit of Pinterest traffic from this master bedroom wall art project so I wanted to update the pictures with higher quality ones.
Perfectionist much? Nah!
I really had no idea so many people would love this project. In fact, I actually like my fireplace makeover better. Or even the gray and white nursery or the dining room.
But for some reason…people “love” this master bedroom wall art. No pun intended.
It was actually the cheapest of all the makeovers and it took me the least amount of time!
It’s always the ones that you think will draw the least amount of attention that surprise you, right?!
Less talking more pictures? Ok!
I believe that your bedroom should be a place for you to display pictures that represent “you and your spouse”. Sometimes we get so caught up in displaying pictures of our children that we lose sight of the what’s just as important…and that is your relationship with your husband {or wife}.
Our bedroom is the place where I enjoy being reminded of the amazing man I married and I love this 24×36 canvas that hangs on our wall.
And look…there is still room to showcase the kiddos too!

We finally got our bedroom done, I had Sherwin Williams color match the Bittersweet Chocolate paint & went with Sherwin Williams Mega Greige. The 2 wall collors are fabulous. I bought a Kohls Comforter Bed in a Bag set that was on sale. I had Kohls cash & a 30% off coupon bringing my bedding price to $2.88 cents, do you belief that? Where as you have corner shelves I put in a actuall ladder shelf & decorated it & it looks fabulous. I painted my iron dresser mirror with Rust-O-Leum oil rubbded bronze paint. My room is looking fabulous. Thanks for your inspiration on Pinterest.
Lori…I was just curious what comforter set you got at Kohl’s? I’ve been trying to find a set to match this room design without any luck. I’m hoping to find one there for the sole reason of using a 30% off coupon as well. 😉

LYCKOAX is the name of the duvet cover and it is Brown and White (I’m looking up everything now).
I have the duvet and when you actually get it , it looks like there is black in it….

What is your Bittersweet Chocolate finish, flat, satin, etc?
I am going to have to repaint my Bittersweet Chocolate wall as after only 3 weeks it is showing marks, scuff, leaning against for hanging pictures etc.

They are suppose to be a deep dark brown, but it definitely looks black to me. Haha!

hi i went to lowes today to look for paint that u mentioned lambs ear paint and they didnt have them.. when did u get those paints?
It’s been 3 years. But I know Lowes can match the Valspar Lambs Ear. I just had it remixed about 6 months ago for touch up.

Curtains are just from Target. I think we mixed a few different stains together (ones we had on hand). I wanna say one was a deep walnut? I’m sorry…I can’t remember exactly!
