I am posting some updated pictures of our master bedroom. The previous post I had published had pictures of this room that I took with my iphone. I am getting quite a bit of Pinterest traffic from this master bedroom wall art project so I wanted to update the pictures with higher quality ones.
Perfectionist much? Nah!
I really had no idea so many people would love this project. In fact, I actually like my fireplace makeover better. Or even the gray and white nursery or the dining room.
But for some reason…people “love” this master bedroom wall art. No pun intended.
It was actually the cheapest of all the makeovers and it took me the least amount of time!
It’s always the ones that you think will draw the least amount of attention that surprise you, right?!
Less talking more pictures? Ok!
I believe that your bedroom should be a place for you to display pictures that represent “you and your spouse”. Sometimes we get so caught up in displaying pictures of our children that we lose sight of the what’s just as important…and that is your relationship with your husband {or wife}.
Our bedroom is the place where I enjoy being reminded of the amazing man I married and I love this 24×36 canvas that hangs on our wall.
And look…there is still room to showcase the kiddos too!

What color are the sets of throw pillows? they look sage, and I’m trying to copy your style- and is it a duvet? I am copying your style and trying to get as close as I can to your look- love it!
I don’t know about the pillows I was wondering the same thing, but it is a duvet cover. She got it from Ikea, I just bought mine this morning lol.

I am obsessed with your master!!!! I went to lowes to get the lambs ear and they said they didn’t have it in their system:( any ideas of what another color would go well?
It’s Valspar Signature so maybe that will help! Our Lowe’s sells Valspar…and I just recently got a small quart for touch up.
Love the color scheme! How many walls of the dark brown did you do? Which wall is best to be painted that dark?

I am ordering this duvet today. But hard to tell about the colors. What color sheets did you use?
I just have a lighter tan sheet set that I use! But you could use chocolate brown or any accent color that you use.
I am searching all over IKEA for this same duvet and can’t find it :/ do you have an item number or name or the design you could share? 🙂

I love the soothing color of your walls. It’s so nice to see the warmer colors on walls in blogland. It seems so many are moving toward all white which is nice from time to time, but after awhile they all see to look a like.
Your bedroom looks lovely, cozy and very relaxing. Which is exactly what your master suite should look like. A tranquil getaway without having to leave your home.
